Job Description
SUPPLY CHAIN QUALITY SPECIALIST required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational pharmaceutical client in Carlow for a full time on-site role on an initial 11 month contract. The SUPPLY CHAIN QUALITY SPECIALIST will work within the Supply Chain Materials team and be responsible for the Supplier Change Notification Process including the management, ownership and co-ordination of Supplier changes.
Role of this position
1. Maintain and build relationships with Customers and Supply Sites in the assigned geographic areas.
2. Act as primary contact for the assigned customers, receive, analyze and process forecasts and orders, manage inventory and deliveries and support new product introductions.
3. Ensure supply to end customers and develop processes that ensure that this supply is protected.
4. Manage and proactively resolve supply issues via effective coordination and communication in close cooperation with the Planning teams, manufacturing sites and the customers.
5. Mitigate and avoid future supply issues by thorough root cause analysis and implementation of preventative measures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
6. Bachelor Degree or higher preferred; ideally in a Science, Engineering or Other Technical
discipline
7. SAP Knowledge essential
8. Experience supporting quality related issues
9. Experience working with quality management systems
10. Green Belt preferable
11. Change Control/ Change Management experience preferable
