Your new role
1. General Accounting:Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
2. Financial Reporting:Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.Support the Finance Manager in the analysis of financial data and the preparation of financial forecasts.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting:Help in the preparation and consolidation of departmental budgets.Monitor budget variances and assist in the preparation of variance analysis reports.
4. Reconciliation:Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.Assist in the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and the maintenance of accurate records.
5. Audit Support:Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and responding to audit inquiries.Assist in implementing audit recommendations and improving internal controls.
6. Compliance and Regulation:Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
7. Team Support:Collaborate with other members of the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations.Provide support to the Finance Manager and other team members as needed.
8. Professional Development:Actively pursue further professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).Stay updated with current accounting standards and best practices.
