Key Responsibilities:
Claims Processing:
* Assist in the processing of insurance claims, including data entry, verification, and documentation management.
* Verify claim forms and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
Communication:
* Liaise with clients, insurance providers, and internal teams to gather necessary information and resolve inquiries related to claims.
Record Keeping:
* Maintain and organize claim records and documentation in an organized and easily accessible manner.
* Update databases and systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Documentation and Reporting:
* Prepare and maintain reports on claims processing activities for review by management.
* Assist in the preparation of claim settlement documents and correspondence.
Customer Service:
* Provide excellent customer service to claimants, addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Administrative Support:
* Assist in general administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, scanning, and mail handling.
Qualifications:
* APA qualified or working towards.
* Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role is desirable.
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
* Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
