Job Description
Duties and responsibilities:
Service Support:
1. Generate and provide customers with sales quotations for parts and consumables
2. Liaise with service engineers to obtain all relevant information to generate sales quotations, where necessary
3. Follow up sales quotations within agreed timescales
4. Take full responsibility of closing out sales quotations on the internal system
5. Identify where sales may be falling short and liaise with customers on this
6. Follow up with customers after breakdown visits have been completed
7. Generate quotation, liaise with clients, process and order equipment, prepare documents for engineers visit, conduct site visits where necessary, post sale follow up with clients and generate case studies.
8. Reporting weekly sales information to Service Director / Head of Internal Service Business Preparing information for engineering contractual visits.
9. Assisting other team members where necessary
Administration Duties:
10. Carry out administrative duties to support the efficient and effective operation of the service function as required
11. Assist the Service Business Manager / Service Business Team Lead with the day-to-day running of the Service Department
12. Participate in Company Stock Checks as required
Ad Hoc Duties
13. Assist other department Managers as required with administration and ad-hoc tasks.
14. Provide back-up support and cover within the service department during periods of absence
15. Participate in Company Stock Checks as required.
16. Generate Purchase Orders for Sub Contractor Labour
17. Cover reception and phones as required
18. General Reporting
19. Any other Ad Hoc duties as required
