Principal Engineers and Associates
We are currently recruiting Principal Engineers and Associates to work as key members of the Buildings & Infrastructure Team.
This is a hybrid role and offices available are Dublin, Galway, Cork, Sligo and Kilkenny.
About The Role:
• Leading / project managing all stages of projects involving the design, procurement, supervision, and certification of new Buildings & Infrastructure projects.
• Working as part of multi-disciplinary design teams in the delivery of Buildings & Infrastructure projects.
• Providing structural engineering technical expertise and mentoring young engineers.
• Providing a high-quality service to our Clients in the Public and Private Sectors.
Qualifications and Experience:
• A Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Level 8) as a minimum; a Masters qualification (Level 9) is advantageous.
• Associate = Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
• Principal Engineer = Minimum of 9 years’ relevant experience
• Chartered Engineer status (CEng, MICE or equivalent).
Key Skills & Attributes:
• Track record of leading design teams and working as part of both Employer-led and Contractor-led design teams.
• Track record of working on Building & Infrastructure projects in a collaborative Level 2 BIM environment.
• Possess a high level of technical capability and experience in the use of structural engineering design software.
• Experience in project management.
• Experience in bid management.
• Team Player with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
