Our client is an Infection Control manufacturing company who are committed to improving health & supply their products into a range of sectors globally. Their Head office & manufacturing plant are based in Wexford. They are seeking a Marketing Manager to join an established commercial team. This is a new position. Reporting to the Managing Director (Healthcare), the successful person shall provide leadership and support to the team, ensuring optimum marketing, PR and communication performance to meet client requirements and company objectives & goals. The role will involve collaborating with a global team and regular global travel, to the US mainly. The person can be based anywhere in Ireland once they can commit to a minimum of 1 day per week is required in the Wexford office.
Role/Responsibilities:
1. Support and manage the development of annual marketing plans to meet strategic and commercial goals, updating plans quarterly based on market opportunity and product performance.
2. Identify and develop engagement opportunities through new or existing resources that build client trust, collaboration and product awareness.
3. Contribute towards the development of editorial, rich content to be deployed across relevant industry networks/channels.
4. Research, develop, implement and manage industry related conversations within the market to specifically promote positive awareness of our clients brands.
5. Create exceptional marketing materials, ensuring effective channel distribution of marketing activities.
6. Create & implement relevant and personalized customer journeys, customer engagement programmes and strategic brand plans.
7. Assign and monitor relevant KPIs, measure marketing activity performance & return on investment.
8. Organise impactful brand awareness webinars/podcasts in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
9. Work with commercial team, leadership, subject matter experts, other relevant functions to execute marketing plans to strategic organisational objectives and goals.
10. Track, evaluate, interpret, and report market and competitor trends, maintaining relevant knowledge of competitive activities, while developing effective countermeasures.
11. Report on marketing activities at a local and corporate level, as applicable.
12. Ensure strict adherence to internal and external legislation and policies to ensure compliance.
13. Provide training and support with branding and marketing tools to relevant stakeholders as required.
14. Support the creation of market related sales training material.
15. Provide periodic reports on successes, failures, and best practices to improve overall marketing output.
16. Engage continually in driving a culture of continuous improvement, developing world class practices while driving out costs, waste (both time and materials) and inefficiencies.
17. Continually work to ensure there is the highest level of teamwork and co-operation between departments at all times.
Education/Experience:
18. Bachelor’s degree in marketing. Higher degree or life/physical sciences a distinct advantage.
19. 5 years of industry related brand marketing, brand building, communication and digital marketing.
20. Good analytical skills and ability to evaluate information to communicate concise trends within the market and competitor environment.
21. Marketing/digital marketing and content creation experience.
22. Commercially focused, with ability to demonstrate proven impact and results.
23. Strong interpersonal skills, leading with a solutions-oriented approach.
24. Ability to deliver creative and impactful brand messaging, with an appreciation of cultural nuances.
25. Willingness to network and collaborate proactively to forge business relationships and deliver projects across industry and academia.
26. Ability to work independently on multiple projects in parallel.
27. Ability to operate flexible working hours to accommodate virtual meetings with colleagues or customers in the US, Europe and Asia.
28. Willingness to travel as required to support commercial activity/events.
