Medical Secretary / Administrator Newcastle West Co. Limerick Our client is based in Newcastle West Co. Limerick, are looking to hire an experienced Medical Secretary to join their expanding team on a contract basis initially. The Role: As Medical Secretary/ Administrator you will have fantastic interpersonal and communication skills and possess awareness and sensitivity towards patient requirements. The ideal candidate will have 1- 2 years plus experience working in a similar role, within a medicalpractice or Hospital fast-paced environment, and is looking for an opportunity to work in a wonderful team environment. Responsibilities to include: Ensuring all patients are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner. Booking of appointments, Dealing with correspondences from GP's, Typing of medical letters using a dictaphone. Processing medical claim forms Maintaining patient records with confidentiality Prepare & process medical documents & reports this also includes Dictaphone typing. Your Skills/ Experience that we need: Must have 1-2+ years of experience in a similar role within a medical practice or a Hospital setting. Must have fantastic interpersonal and communication skills and possess awareness and sensitivity towards patient requirements. Strong IT and Data Processing skills with excellent typing skills are essential. Dictaphone typing experience is essential. Polite and clear telephone manner. Must have the ability to work well as part of a team. The Offer: This position is a contract role paying €18.55 per hour working 35 hours per week with 28 days annual leave.
