Executive Head Chef - Ireland 5* Hotel
My client, a small Luxury 5* Hotel in Ireland is seeking an experienced Exec Head Chef to join their team. The successful applicant will have a strong background in Luxury 5* Hotels or Michelin Standard Fine Dining Restaurants. You oversee the day-to-day culinary operations, including training, supervising staff, and monitoring food quality. They are seeking a hands-on proactive manager capable of leading and motivating a team of talented Chefs who has a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar Senior Chef role
The Candidate:
1. Previous experience in a similar senior role in a Luxury 5* Hotel or Michelin Standard Fine Dining Restaurant environment
2. A Team Player, excellent Staff Developer & an innovative Team leader
3. Should have an understanding & knowledge of compiling wage forecasts, rosters, monthly stock control & budgeting, team training, cost control management, and managing HACCP.
4. Should excel and exceed in the delivery of exceptional food whilst maintaining consistency.
5. Be an ambitious person responsible for creating an environment that promotes employee morale and encourages the team to have pride and commitment to their work.
6. Excellent Communication, Organisational and Leadership Skills
7. Have the ability to handle multiple tasks including volume production with an eye for detail and presentation.
8. Stay up to date with the latest culinary trends
9. Ensure that the Outlets Operational budgets are in line and costs are strictly controlled
