YOUR NEW COMPANY Based in Tipperary my client is a well-established ISO certified market leader in Pumping and Treatment Systems that specialises in providing top quality water and wastewater solutions to a huge range of different industries in Ireland and the EU! Due to the rapid growth of their business the company are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer for a hybrid role covering sites in the Southeast. Due to the hybrid nature of the Electrical Engineer job if you are based in Tipperary, Kilkenny, Laois, Waterford, Offaly & Cork this could be a great move for you! YOUR NEW ELECTRICAL ENGINEER JOB Working with a design team of 4 you will hold an Electrical Engineering qualification and working from home 1-2 days a week the rest of your week will be spent calling to client sites in the South West (Cork, Kerry, Limerick & Clare). In this electrical engineering role you will primarily be working on Irish Water Frame works - including electrical upgrade program Day to day some of your key responsibilities will include: Electrical design submissions Working with the design team in production of drawings and documentation Preparation of scope documents and works packages Developing electrical design deliverables i.e. single line diagrams, cable schedules. M&I schedules, I/O listings, P&IDs etc. Overseeing of electrical installation works Completion of quality checks to ensure works are complete in accordance with design requirements and ready for commissioning Preparation of commissioning documentation and supervision of commissioning process Working with team for project close out and Client handover WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU You will hold an electrical engineering degree or similar, have a clean full drivers' licence and at least 2 years + relevant industry experience. WHATS IN IT FOR YOU There is a salary of €55k-€60k doe plus pension & a commercial vehicle that can be used at night and weekends for local travel. This is a hybrid role where you'll work from home 1-2 days a week and then call to client sites for the rest of the week so there will be plenty of variety in this job. You'll be joining a company who work very well together and where people look out for each other and as this is an entry level role you'll be fully supported and mentored and given all the training you'll need to succeed in the job.
