Mechanical HVAC Supervisor

Role Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical HVAC Supervisor to oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems on large-scale projects in the pharma, MedTech, and data centre sectors. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to deliver complex mechanical solutions to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
In conjunction with your project team, you will be responsible for the execution of various stages of a project as follows:
Manage and oversee the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems, ensuring project specifications and deadlines are met.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure HVAC systems are seamlessly integrated with overall project components.
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring compliance with quality standards, budgets, and project milestones.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and verify that HVAC works adhere to design specifications and safety regulations.
Provide technical input, solve on-site challenges, and ensure efficient resolution of issues during the project lifecycle.
Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
Maintain a focus on health, safety, and environmental compliance throughout all project stages.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on HVAC systems.
Proven track record in delivering large-scale projects in pharma, MedTech, or data centre environments.
Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems, including design, installation, and commissioning.
Experience in managing subcontractors and driving projects to successful completion.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software is advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Results-driven, with a proven ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
