The Role: As an Assistant Front Office & Reservations Manager, your primary responsibility is to assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing the efficient functioning of the department and ensuring guest satisfaction. Reporting to:You will report directly to the Front Office Manager and General Manager. Responsible for: Assisting in managing Front Office & Reservations operations, providing support in monitoring, training, and maintaining current standards, as well as contributing to the implementation of new procedures. The Person: We are seeking candidates with a proven track record as a Manager for 5 years. The Hotel: Lough Rea Hotel and Spa is one of the most highly recommended and well known venues in Galway. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Front Office Manager to implement and enhance systems and training to ensure efficient and effective operation of the front office area. Assist in ensuring clear communication through shift handovers, briefing team members on daily events, and special requirements. Support the Front Office Manager in ensuring all team members understand their roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations. Provide constructive feedback to team members to enhance their overall job performance. Assist in fostering good communication between all departments and the front office to enhance guest service. Support the hiring, training, and development of front desk associates. Collaborate with the Reservations Department to stay informed about room availability, promotional offers, and pricing. The Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in hospitality Manager, 5+ years. Fluent English Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress.
