Title: Senior Instrumentation & Calibration Engineer - Maynooth.
Type: 50%+ Field Based role with company van.
Schedule: Monday - Friday (Flexi-Hours).

Role Overview:
Reporting to the Head of Laboratory, the Senior Calibration Engineer is responsible for the scheduling, coordinating, and completion of calibrations both on-site at the customer’s location and in their state-of-the-art laboratory in Maynooth, Co. Kildare.
The candidate must have experience in one or more of the following fields:
* Electrical, Temperature & Pressure Calibration.
* Quality (ISO17025 or similar).
Key Role Responsibilities:
* Act as the instrumentation expert with accountability for the calibration program.
* Maintain a working and in-depth knowledge of products, calibration techniques, and procedures.
* Coordinate completion of all calibration to ensure calibration schedules are met.
* Perform scheduled and unscheduled calibration of measuring & test equipment and ensure all activities are completed in accordance with applicable procedures and policies.
* Authorize and revise calibration standard operating procedures.
* Provide support to Operations and Quality when required.
* Provide technical knowledge and support to customers and colleagues.
* Other duties as required.
Key Candidate Requirements:
This is a hands-on role, therefore a solid understanding of instrumentation, equipment & processes is essential. The role will also include day-to-day Quality functions.
* At least 3 years of relevant calibration/instrumentation experience.
* Minimum of Diploma or professional qualification in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering/Electrician.
* Experience calibrating and maintaining a quality system is an advantage.
* Desire & ability to work effectively on own initiative under minimal supervision.
* Willingness to travel and work away from home, when required.
* Strong PC skills (MS Office etc.).
* Full clean driving license.
