We are looking for a dedicated PLC Engineer to enhance our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations through expert development and management of automated systems. This position entails a comprehensive engagement with PLC systems from design through maintenance, within a highly regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and maintain PLC systems that control pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Develop detailed documentation for PLC system specifications and maintenance procedures.
- Implement system upgrades and integrations with existing manufacturing technology to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of PLC systems to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and GMP standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in automation systems to minimize production downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to align automation strategies with organizational goals.
- Train technical personnel on PLC system operations and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest in control system technology and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement in automation processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in PLC programming and system design, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical production processes, GMP, and relevant FDA regulations.
- Proficient in using PLC programming software and tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with different levels of the organization
