Job Title: Service Manager Work Location: Showroom/Workshop Reports to: Dealer Principal Job Description: Oversee and manage all service-related activities at the dealership and ensure workshop operates in an efficient and profitable manner. Responsibilities and Duties: Manage and plan all workshop operations to ensure optimum utilisation of personnel and parts within Service Department Ensure all service/warranty/repair work completed by workshop personnel is of a consistently high standard and within time expectations Provide expert knowledge to customers and advise them with their service requirements in a professional and courteous manner Ensure accurate recording of parts used, service times, job costing and invoicing within Service Department, to include KPIs Provide guidance to workshop personnel and help foster an environment where personnel can develop and excel Ensure all training needs of personnel are met and records maintained Ensure all materials purchased are controlled and sold at profit Liaise closely with Parts Manager to ensure consistent availability of parts for efficient operation of Service Department Undertake all training required to carry out the role Role requires a full clean driving licence
