Our Client is one of Irelands most exciting digital engineering companies to emerge.
Sligo based, the company carries out an expansive range of services within the Architectural, Engineering, Construction and Operations (AECO) industry, throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe.
The ideal candidate will come from an engineering or construction background and will have 5+ years experience working within the Pharmaceutical, Data Centre and semi-conductor sectors.
The candidate will take responsibility for managing clients' expectations and multi-disciplinary teams on a variety of large-scale engineering and construction projects (client side) across Ireland, the UK and Europe.
Liaising with the Geospatial surveying and BIM co-ordination teams on project requirements
Planning weekly/monthly work tasks for project teams
Assisting company directors on planning and costing estimates for projects
Identifying the engineering and surveying needs for construction support throughout the project life cycle
Working with the BIM co-ordination team to ensure site installations correspond to 3D construction models, whilst providing verification reports on such observations
Liaising with the Geospatial surveying teams in utilising innovative digital technologies such as 3D laser scanning and verification software
Liaising with clients on project requirements and associated deliverables
Utilising digital platforms, such as BIM 360 & Navisworks, for reviewing and recording quality observations
Employing Contract Management principles, including client relationship management
Requirements
Degree - engineering or construction background
5+ years experience working on construction and engineering projects in the pharmaceutical/data centre/semi conductor sectors
Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams on large-scale projects
Excellent IT, communication and organisational skills
Extensive experience in creating and updating construction programmes (P6, ASTA, MSP)
Excellent people and management skills
Clean Drivers License
Work location will be primarily based out of the Sligo office with 1-2 days travel per week to clients sites
