Senior Electrical Engineer About the Company My client is a global leader inResearch, Development and Manufacturing in drug development. About the Position The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all the sites electrical systems in line with the relevant auditing and safety standards. Own and manage the site utilities throughout the facility to deliver compliant systems capable of safe and continuous supplies to all points and users without interruption or impact. Ensure all site electrical systems are safe and compliant in operation and effective operation, control of monitoring system. Lead the consistent application of the site wide maintenance and calibration philosophy. Drive an operational excellence and continuous improvement mind-set across the site within the Engineering team. Key Responsibilities Support the site and each department as the engineering team. Support power supply system, including load balance. Task supervisor for all site electrical system related work and timely resolution of issues whilst ensuring compliance at all times. Management and control of associated site electrical operational and capital budget. Very good strategy of electrical PM activity. Good knowledge of electrical maintenance, design, installation and commissioning. Drives the consistent application of maintenance systems, standards and best practice across the various production and support areas to ensure continuous and reliable supply of site utilities electrical systems across the site. Review and approve site utilities electrical system modifications, change requests, and SOPs. Develop and champion continuous improvement programs that increase the performance and reliability of site utilities electrical equipment and systems. Support Engineering Projects, Validation, Warehouse, QC, QA and other departments on all site utilities electrical projects/issues with regard to specification, scope definition, budget preparation, detailed engineering design, purchasing, inspection, validation, installation and commissioning of all new machinery and buildings. Participate in risk assessments, inspections, audits, incident and deviation investigations. Perform all duties in accordance with GMP requirements, SOPs and controlled documents. Will act as a role model for the Engineering function and also the wider organization in adherence to the corporate core values and culture. Experience/Requirements Bachelors degree in electrical, automation, electronic or engineering Relevant Electrical Engineering experience Experience of control for VFD, motor control, load balance and other electrical components, PLC plus Familiar with related installation, commissioning and maintenance Familiar with electrical components and device Knowledge of instruments for electrical control Knowledge and experience of safety, GMP and environmental regulatory requirements Proficient in MS Office and CAD Remuneration Package A competitive package is available including generous salary and benefits.
