Description
We are looking for a talented Customer Support Engineer based in our Dublin, Ireland location. Major Responsibilities include:
1. Customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing complex electro-optical and electro-mechanical equipment at customer site
2. Representing the company to the customer and accountability for customer satisfaction with service
3. Coordinating actions with customers to minimize downtime.
4. Preparation of field service report on customer support activity and providing documentation to other supporting functions on re-occurring problems
5. Interface with technical support, headquarter engineering, and manufacturing engineering on maintenance procedures and equipment reliability

Essential soft and technical skills:
11. Bachelor’s Level Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
12. Good practical skills in electronic, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical assembly
13. Ability to read and work with engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
14. Excellent analytical problem-solving skills
15. Good presentation and communication skills
16. Availability to travel to other European sites on a limited basis
17. Availability for training periods in USA /Asia
18. Proficiency in MS office tools
19. A valid driving license is required for the country you will be working in.
As part of the Customer Service Team, the successful candidate will be required to work a days shift pattern in support of a 7 day X 24-hour manufacturing environment. A shift cycle allowance will apply.
