Our client,
a leading Tier 1 Main contractor are currently seeking a Marketing & Communications Specialist to join their team in Galway. The successful candidate will support the Marketing & Communications Director and the wider marketing team to implement the agreed annual marketing plans.
Education
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Business or related field.
Professional Experience
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing and communications roles, with a focus on strategy development and plan management.
3. Proven experience in brand management and building brand awareness.
4. Demonstrated success in guiding teams in day-to-day marketing and communications activity.
5. Strong background in digital marketing, including advertising strategies, content creation, and channel development.
6. Experience in managing PR initiatives, multi-channel advertising campaigns, media monitoring, and reputation management.
7. Familiarity with ESG principles and reporting.
8. Previous experience in business development, including lead generation and client presentations.
9. Experience in stakeholder relationship management through satisfaction surveys, communications campaigns, and networking.
10. Familiarity with the construction industry, especially in prequalification processes, is a plus.
Skills and Competencies
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
12. Strong digital marketing skills, including proficiency in SEO, social media, and online advertising.
13. Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office, and in particular Excel and PowerPoint
14. Experience in using the Adobe Creative Suite for day-to-day presentations and content creation.
15. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
16. Project management skills for overseeing campaigns and initiatives.
17. Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging.
18. Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor the marketing and prequal teams.
19. Analytical skills for measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
20. Relationship-building skills to establish and nurture connections with stakeholders.
