This role has become available due to one of their Maintenance Technicians moving to another country. They are a great company to work for and have very low staff turnover. Reporting to the engineering manager, the maintenance technician will provide support to all business areas for installation, maintenance, and repairs, as well as the replacement and servicing of parts in accordance with a planned maintenance schedule across Clare and Limerick operations. Carrying out of servicing / running maintenance of equipment Repair, removal and replacement of components or systems Carrying out modifications or inspections in accordance with specified instructions Keeps their work environment clean and organised Engaging in cross-skilling duties where required Fault-finding and defect rectification Operation of electronic testing equipment and other hand tools in accordance with instructions. Maintain repair and service records using Preventative Maintenance Software. Completion of all duties in a safe manner Perform other related duties as assigned Essential Requirements 3 years of experience within a production maintenance environment is essential 3 years experience in TIG Welding Working knowledge and skills in tools and components used in the maintenance and repair of pipework and mechanical systems such as bearings, gears, clutches, belts, and seals Ability to troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic components Installation of heavy industrial machinery is an advantage.
