Job Title: Application Support Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Application Support Analyst to provide production support for banking applications. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and resolving production incidents, managing incident and problem tickets, and conducting problem management post-incident to determine root causes and drive permanent solutions. You will also manage capacity and performance, work with development teams on new services or significant upgrades, support audits, and engage in stakeholder management to prioritise defect fixes and enhancements.
Responsibilities
Identify and resolve production incidents for banking applications.
Conduct problem management post-incident to determine root causes and implement permanent solutions.
Manage incident and problem tickets using the enterprise ITSM tool.
Oversee capacity and performance management.
Collaborate with development teams for take-on and training of new services or significant upgrades.
Provide support for internal and external audits.
Engage in stakeholder management, working closely with business and operations partners to understand KPI metrics, measure service stability, and prioritize defect fixes and enhancements.
Essential Skills
Application support experience.
Proficiency in troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Unix and Linux operating systems.
Experience in payments and settlements.
Familiarity with Gloss.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Relevant degree.
