Job Description: My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Test Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automated testing using Selenium with Java, as well as strong proficiency in various other testing and development tools. This role offers a hybrid work model, requiring you to be on-site in Limerick two days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining days.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java.
2. Write and execute shell scripts for automation tasks.
3. Work in a Linux environment to support testing activities.
4. Utilize Visual Studio and Eclipse for test development and execution.
5. Implement and maintain automated tests using JavaScript and Python.
6. Design and execute REST API tests using Rest Assured.
7. Use Jira for bug tracking and project management.
8. Set up and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with Jenkins.
9. Design and run test cases using TestNG.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
11. Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
12. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Qualifications:
13. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
14. Proven experience as an Automation Test Engineer or similar role.
15. Strong proficiency in Selenium with Java.
16. Experience with shell scripting and Linux.
17. Familiarity with Visual Studio, Eclipse, JavaScript, Python, and Rest Assured.
18. Knowledge of Jira, Jenkins, and TestNG.
