Job Objectives
We are seeking a Field Care Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Nua Healthcare. The person will make significant contributions to the achievement of all training activities, practices, and goals aimed at cultivating a high-performance culture focused on employee empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards, as well as the continuous development of our skilled and talented workforce.
This will include the following on a day-to-day basis:
1. Live our Mission, Vision and Values.
2. Implement reporting mechanisms particularly Incident/Accident reports.
3. Follow up on new cases implemented after a one-month period
4. Liaise directly with families for case set ups
5. Communicate effectively with the Care Manager
6. Work closely with the area Care Manager to implement the policies and procedures of Nua and ensure that the high standards of the company are met at all times.
7. Communicate effectively with Service Users and their families to build and maintain an effective relationship to benefit the health, independence and social integration of the individual.
8. Reliability and a flexible approach essential for position.
9. Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner throughout the course of one’s duties, showing respect for Service Users and colleagues.
10. Adherence to Nua Supported Living confidentiality policies at all times.
11. Deputising for Care Manager when requested
12. Be involved at Care Managers request to do INA’s
13. Complete Supervision with staff
14. Complete regular spot checks
15. Emergency Out of Hours – Roster basis
16. Sales Capacity Letters/Calls to HSE/TUSLA

Skills Requirement
Qualification:
17. Level 7/8 Degree or working towards degree in Social Studies - Minimum entry level for Field Care Supervisors is 2nd Year Student working towards Degree in Social Studies
Knowledge:
18. Knowledge of standards and legislation relevant to the area.
Experience:
19. Minimum of 1 years' experience in working in a busy team environment.
Skills:
20. Strong leadership skills.
21. Strong problem-solving skills and judgement
22. making critical decisions and recommendations.
23. Capable of working within a fast-paced and flexible team.
24. Good listener and open to learning from others.
