Reporting to the PIA (Prudential International Assurance) Financial Crime and Regulatory Risk Manager, you will support your line manager and their other direct reports in the execution of their responsibilities covering financial crime and compliance risk monitoring.

Key Responsibilities for this role:
5. Act as PIA’s local data protection co-ordinator and liaise with PIA's outsourced services provider and the M&G Central Data Privacy Team in managing Data Privacy Breaches, DSARs, Register of Processing Activities and DPIAs as applicable
6. Manage PIA DPO email account
7. Management of PIA Regulatory Reporting Tracker
8. Preparing applicable regulatory returns for Manager review where Compliance are responsible for the return
9. Supporting Manager in meeting PIA's Fitness and Probity responsibilities
10. Supporting Manager in reviewing PIA literature allocated to them for review
11. Collating and producing Compliance MI and related dashboards
12. Reviewing PEP/Sanction/Adverse Media screening alerts
13. Provide support in managing the PIA Compliance e-mail account
14. Supporting Manager in maintaining compliance policies, standards and procedures
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
15. Degree level education and a professional compliance qualification (or suitable equivalent) or currently studying for such a qualification
16. Practical experience within a CBI or FCA regulated financial services firm or consultancy
17. Working knowledge and some experience of Irish and UK regulatory requirements, including IDR, GDPR and Financial Crime
18. Experience of producing MI and related dashboards
19. Life insurance industry experience ideal
20. Some experience of reviewing financial promotional and non-promotional literature preferred
21. Commercially focused
22. Ability to analyse data, draw conclusions and make recommendations
23. Experience working in a fast paced environment and meeting deadlines
24. Well organised self-starter, able to prioritise quickly and adapt to change and tight time-frames
25. Collaborative with a strong team ethic
26. Good writing skills
27. Proficient with Microsoft Office including use of Word, Excel, Power BI, Powerpoint
