Job Description
What You'll Do:
1. Act as a front-line brand ambassador to guests and team members of Canada Goose
2. Be visible to guests as they enter the store premises and control access to property
3. Acknowledge guests as they enter and exit the property
4. Contribute to a positive store environment through effective communication, teamwork and partnership with brand ambassadors and store management team
5. Assist in creating a safe work environment for our associates and customers
6. Assisting in the protection of the work and assets at our stores
7. Attend and participate in all store meetings and events
8. Demonstrate values and behaviours consistent with Canada Goose’s culture
9. Develop and maintain a professional relationship with all internal partners, mall security and other retailers to ensure all parties are well-informed with current and relative information
10. Ensure the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and on-site emergencies
11. Complete and submit CG Incident reports within 24hrs of event
12. Play an integral role store cycle counts and physical inventory process
13. Support initiatives to maintain brand standards in delivery and merchandising process
14. Direct connectivity with the Sr. Loss Prevention Manager for Canada Goose to help influence brand strategies for mitigating loss
15. Responsible for maintaining standards for store security equipment
16. Support the completion of monthly Operational Control Checklist and Action Planning to increase store operational standards (if applicable)
17. Be able to directly connect with customers and store associates with a customer service mindset
18. Member of the JHSC and responsible for the completion of monthly Health & Safety Inspection
Let's Talk About You:
19. 2-3 years’ experience working in retail with knowledge of workplace safety and emergency procedures
20. Experience in Loss Prevention or Retail Security is an asset
21. Recognized and valid first aid and CPR certificates
22. Applicant will be required to obtain Security Guard licensing if not currently licensed
23. Must be a team player with a keen sense on collaboration and growth mindset
24. Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
25. Meticulous record keeping, report writing and observation skills
26. Exceptional judgment, common sense and decision-making ability
27. Good physical well-being and able to walk, stand for long periods of time, climb stairs and lift objects up to 20 lbs
28. Available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
