Galway Community Circus seeks to appoint a Development Coordinator to support the development and implementation of our fundraising strategy, increase income generation and diversify funding streams to help us deliver upon our artistic ambitions across an exciting portfolio of programmes and partnerships.
Following our, we aim to grow our earned income in order to have a balance of core funding, project funding and earned income.
This exciting new full-time role has been created as part of the programme by Business to Arts in partnership with the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media. The successful candidate will participate in workshops, trainings and mentoring sessions and join a peer network of fundraising professionals, supported by Business to Arts. The Fellowship aims to provide training and professional development to enhance long-term careers in fundraising and development for the Irish cultural sector.
Terms of Employment
Salary: €30,000 – €35,000 per annum based on experience
Hours: Full-time role 40 hours (5 days) per week, including a daily paid 0.5-hour lunch break. Hours will vary during busy periods, with occasional weekend and evening work. Holidays: 4 weeks + public holidays + additional hours/days as per organisation’s TOIL Policy
Location: Based at Galway Community Circus, St. Joseph’s Community Centre, Ashe Road, Shantalla, Galway, Ireland, H91 A4VW (wheelchair accessible)
This position is open to hybrid working (pending agreement and team requirements) including flexible working hours, remote work options and access supports. A fully remote working option is not available for this post.
Contract: Two-year contract pending probation period of 6 months, with a 3-month review, with possibility of contract being extended.
