Commodity Manager – North Dublin
This position is a global role, based in North Dublin, with responsibility for managing and optimizing the commodity supply chain. The Commodity Manager will play a key role in supporting the needs of manufacturing facilities located in both the USA and Ireland, focusing on laboratory diagnostic instruments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and expand the supplier network to meet the growing production demands at manufacturing sites in the USA and Ireland for laboratory diagnostic instruments.
2. Serve as the main point of contact between sourcing, manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams, leading cross-functional initiatives.
3. Manage supplier relationships end-to-end to ensure targets for delivery, quality, and cost are met, both in the short and long term.
4. Collaborate closely with the commodity management team on global strategies, demand forecasting, pricing negotiations, and overall supplier management.
Qualifications and Experience:
5. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
6. A Master's degree or MBA is an advantage.
7. A minimum of 8 years of experience in a related area.
8. Expertise in specific commodity categories (such as metals, electronics, plastics, etc.) would be beneficial.
9. Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

15. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and drive necessary changes.
16. Ability to foster strong, influential relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers.
