Position: Accounting Technician / Accounts Assistant
Location: Enniscorthy
Salary: Neg DOE
Main Responsibilities:
* Accounts Receivable - daily invoicing, ensuring accuracy of invoices and associated monthly reporting.
* Accounts Payable - processing approved creditors invoices, reconciling supplier accounts and preparing monthly payment run.
* Bank Reconciliations - reconciling bank accounts daily
* Responding to all internal and external queries in a timely manner
* Month-end duties - cost analysis, reconciliations, journal postings, sales reporting & rebates.
* Ad-hoc duties - to assist with management accounts and annual audit process and work with the wider office team if & when required.
Minimum Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience working in a similar role.
* Accounting Technician or similar
* Accuracy and attention to detail is vital for this role.
* The ability to communicate effectively and take direction.
* A broad knowledge of accounting and financial control principles and their business applications
* The ability to work under pressure, balance priorities, and meet strict deadlines is essential.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability prioritise and manage own processing schedule.
* IT Skills and experience with Accounting Software packages
* Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel & Outlook
* Flexibility and willingness to help other colleagues to meet deadlines.
* A team player and ability to work as part of a team.
