CCTV Engineer - Ireland
Hadiran Technology Limited (HTL), a specialist CCTV business within Marlowe Fire and Security Group, are looking to grow their team with the appointment of an experienced CCTV Engineer
Our CCTV Engineers
Responsible for undertaking various pre planned and reactive maintenance tasks, along with remedial and new installation works. You will be required to maintain a variety of CCTV systems primarily for supermarkets and some government contracts, covering a specific geographical region, in addition to other clients as required.
1. Carry out all assigned tasks from commencement to completion.
2. Servicing / maintenance, testing, Installation & commissioning of CCTV and Security Systems
3. IP Surveillance Systems and Analogue Systems and related equipment.
4. Providing a quality maintenance, fault diagnosis, remedial service and where required, installation in the most methodical and efficient manner, including the ability to digest detailed scope of works and working drawings.
5. Liaising with Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) as required
6. Completion of high-quality maintenance, reactive calls, commissioning and handover electronic documentation to include detailed defect reports.
7. Maintaining safe work environment at all times and have a good understanding of Health and Safety Risk Assessments and Method statements, safe working procedures, undertaking personal risk assessments for each task and working to Client’s premises Health & Safety rules
8. Undertake Client training and demonstration of systems to explain the working and functionality as required
9. Maintain effective communication with customers when undertaking site visits.
10. Maintain your vehicle stock levels with support from the team.
11. Attend Marlowe Academy and Manufacturer training sessions as and when required.
12. Ensure effective time management for the tasks required.
13. Exceed customer expectations and ensure that our work adheres to all company policies and procedures at the highest of standards.
Requirements
Who We’re Looking For
In addition to having all the usual attributes of a great HTL employee, such as; a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, well presented and professional at all times, ability to work alone and as part of a team….. For this opportunity, we are specifically looking for candidates who offer:
14. At least 4 years previous experience in a CCTV engineering role.
15. You must demonstrate a detailed knowledge of Security Systems British/EN Standard and understanding of NSI/SSAIB Accreditations
16. General knowledge of all CCTV Systems both Analogue and IP.
17. Technical background Security system maintenance and fault finding
18. Knowledge of a variety of CCTV Manufacturers including Concept Pro, Hikvision, Dahua, Hanwha, Bosch etc
19. IPAF
20. PASMA
21. Knowledge of IP Systems networking is preferable
22. Ideally BTec qualification
23. Working knowledge of Intruder Alarms, Access control systems and Intercom using a range of equipment including: Paxton, Honeywell, Texecom, Bosch,
24. Manufacturers training for any of the following: Concept Pro, Paxton, Honeywell, Texecom, Bosch, HikVision etc
25. Electrical Qualifications
