IRC Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a client for the role of a Document Delivery Information Specialist within the pharmaceutical industry based in Dublin.
Location: Dublin (hybrid)
Start date: ASAP
Duration of contract: 6 months
Pay Rate: €29 per hour
Librarian- Document Delivery specialist.
Duties:
1. Provide a timely and efficient document delivery service
2. Review and mediate copyright permission orders to ensure compliance with applicable laws
3. Carry out basic database searches to verify bibliographic citations
4. Get the subscribed material online and ensure that they are accessible. Escalate access issues and
broken links.
5. Obtain material not held in collection selecting the best possible option.
6. Follow-up with provider for the timely supply of the publications.
7. Document work processes. Clearly communicate progress and results with peers and customers
KPIs
8. Services turnaround time (Timeliness)
9. Error free services (Accuracy)
10. Customer satisfaction score, based on regular customer satisfaction survey
Skill requirements
11. 1-3 years of relevant librarian experience.
12. Experience with interlibrary loan / document delivery including verification of bibliographic citations
and lo-cation of items required.
13. Experience practicing intellectual property law required, specifically in the areas of copyright and
licensing desired.
14. Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a library environment.
15. Broad knowledge of healthcare online tools and e-resources (database, e-journals, etc.)
16. Attention to detail with the ability to complete a large volume of work quickly and independently.

Education
22. Degree in Library and Information Science (B.L.I.Sc),
