Sanderson are working with a well-known Irish Food Group to recruit for the position of a Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities: Maintenance Strategy and Problem Resolution: Design and implement maintenance strategies, diagnose breakdowns, and develop preventative maintenance programs to address recurring issues and improve plant efficiency. Team Management and Development: Lead and upskill the maintenance team, collaborate with production to meet site schedules, and manage additional resourcing needs. System and Equipment Management: Oversee the Computerised Maintenance Management System, manage spare parts and supplies, and ensure timely calibration and statutory testing of equipment. Budget and KPI Management: Set and achieve maintenance budgets and targets, monitor and report on utilities costs, and ensure compliance with predefined KPIs for maintenance performance and equipment effectiveness. Contractor and Supplier Relations: Manage external contractors and service contracts, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and maintaining good relations with critical suppliers. Requirements: Minimum 5 years' experience In the Food Manufacturing industry. Must hold an electrical qualification with industrial experience. Ability to apply engineering principles in practical application. Project management experience essential. Proven track record in team development and management essential.
