We are currently looking for a Plumbing Supervisor to supervise the installation of plumbing systems in air handling units. The role is onsite and based in Dublin 12.
What you will do
1. Supervises, assigns, and coordinates the work activities of a team of plumbers, apprentice plumbers and general operatives.
2. Plans and develops work schedules, equipment usage schedules, priority of plumbing expenditures, and procedures for plumbing systems maintenance.
3. Work with other functions design, procurement, electrical, production and logistics to ensure a mechanical solution is delivered safely, on time and within budget
4. Monitors the acquisition and use of materials.
5. Maintains time, payroll, and material records and submits reports as required.
6. Trains or informs employees of new work methods or procedures, changes in safety regulations, work policies, and plumbing codes.
7. Work closely with design team to achieve practical and cost effective solutions.
8. Adheres to proper codes and standards.
9. Leading an on-site team with close management and supervision of all staff
10. Ensuring company policies and procedures are always adhered to by staff on site
11. Ensuring all H&S regulations are always obeyed
12. To maintain detailed, accurate site records
13. Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with best practice and complies with all relevant regulations.
14. Co-ordinating work with other subcontractors as required
15. Attending site meetings and troubleshoot as necessary
What we look for
16. Plumbing qualification essential; 3+ years previous experience with a supervisory role,
17. Interpret schematics and mechanical drawings
18. Good knowledge of health and safety requirements
19. A rounded knowledge of risk and compliance and demonstrable planning and project management skills

30. Minimum Qualifications: Nine years of plumbing and/or mechanical-pipefitting systems experience, which includes 3 years of supervisory experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
