Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the quality assurance services within complex, significant and high risk projects. Monitors and controls resources, revenue and capital costs against the project budget.
2. Responsible for hiring, developing and retaining specialists.
3. Builds long-term, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders and maintains strong understanding of the clients’ industry and business.
4. Actively monitors emerging technologies and market trends, identifies process improvements, and contributes to quality assurance standards and definition of best practice at the project level.
5. Leads project reviews and advises others on the design of the process in the field of quality assurance.
6. Responsible for defining the kinds of environments required, appropriate tooling, roles and skills and the quality process given the overall development process within projects.
7. Facilitates scoping and business priority setting for large or complex project changes, obtaining formal agreement from a large and diverse range of potentially senior stakeholders and recipients to the scope and requirements, plus able to establish a base-line on which delivery of a solution can commence.
8. Delivers in capability assessment/audits, benchmarking, reporting and evaluation. Reviews and predicts any potential areas of deficit/risks and takes preventative action. Able to assess and advise on the practicality of process alternatives, initiate and direct improvements.
9. Provides input for overall delivery models and assists sales with pre-sales activity. Reviews new business proposals and provides advice on compliance issues.
10. Maintains awareness and ensures correct commercial cover for responsible accounts.
Qualifications
Essential:
11. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
12. ISTQB Advanced
13. Project Management qualification
Desirable:
14. Additional course or certification in Quality Assurance
15. Certification in ITIL preferred

Technical:
25. Has advanced level of general overall QA expertise with a strong background in managing QA projects whilst providing leadership to teams. Has strong project management skills.
26. Evidence of in-depth application/technology and domain knowledge and viewed as an expert in multiple areas, specifically QA management.
27. Strong knowledge of emerging technologies and market trends and able to assess impact on business strategies, benefits and risks.
28. Experience in influencing senior level clients and project teams through change management initiatives, ensuring that the infrastructure is managed to provide agreed levels of service.
29. Experience in anticipating problem areas and using formal methodologies to forecast trends and define innovative strategic choices in response to the potential implications of multiple integrated options.
30. In depth knowledge in enterprise software solutions and experience in providing management to QA teams.
31. Experience in working closely with clients to develop an understanding of their business strategy and architecting solutions based on that.

39. Proven ability in monitoring and controlling resources, revenue and capital costs against the project budget and managing expectations of all project stakeholders.
Experience
40. Experience managing large SAP programmes of work.
