Salary: €55,000 — €65,000 depending on experience.
Location: Arthritis Ireland National Office, Clanwilliam Square, Dublin 2. Hybrid working available with 2 – 3 days in the office and flexibility as required.
Type of Role: Full-Time, Permanent.
Arthritis Ireland is a health research charity and a national patient organisation, representing one million people living with arthritis in this country. Its vision is of a better life for people living with arthritis today; a world without arthritis tomorrow.
Arthritis Ireland is now seeking a strategic, experienced Fundraising Manager to lead their fundraising team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate with a proven track record in fundraising, or business development/sales to join a high-profile health charity and lead on its fundraising strategy and growth.
THE ROLE
The Fundraising Manager’s key responsibilities will be to increase income year on year, continue to identify new growth areas and create a sustainable income stream for the organisation from a variety of sources including corporate partnerships, community events, direct marketing, individual giving and legacies.
This is the perfect role for a candidate with excellent relationship-building and networking skills who can influence and partner with both corporate and individual donors. Experience in managing the operational aspects of fundraising including data analysis, compliance with codes of practice and fundraising regulations, and creating fundraising collateral is required.
The Fundraising Manager will report directly to the CEO and line manage a Fundraising Executive and Administrator. Previous people management experience would be a distinct advantage, but is not essential – this role would also suit a candidate who is ready to take the next step in their fundraising career into a management position.
If you are a strong relationship builder with a passion for fundraising particularly corporate engagement, excellent communication and organisation skills, and a track record of meeting targets, we’d love to hear from you!
