Job Description As a senior maintenance engineer, you will report to the Associate Director of Engineering Operations & Compliance. You will be responsible for driving toward exceptional performance to meet goals. You will manage a team of maintenance technicians and contractors to support the strategic direction of the company's maintenance program to ensure equipment reliability meets production operational demand. Responsibilities Implement maintenance strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives, including establishing and maintaining a comprehensive maintenance program to ensure the reliability and availability of all equipment and facilitiesProvide strong leadership to the maintenance teams, while fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement. Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion as part of the overall department strategy, including providing staff with coaching, training and opportunities to develop skillsManage maintenance infrastructure, monitor all systems status, and analyse to identify trends. Develop and manage preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs to ensure cost effective and reliable operation of all equipment and systems. This includes implementing predictive and preventive maintenance practices to minimise downtime and optimise equipment performanceMonitor KPIs for equipment breakdowns, calibrations, and PM, and implement corrective and preventive actionsEnsure all maintenance activities comply with regulatory requirements, including FDA and GMP standards and maintain accurate documentation/records to support regulatory audits and inspectionsManage the maintenance budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and identify cost-saving opportunities to implement cost-effective solutionsPromote a culture of safety responsibility within the engineering and maintenance teamsEngage in Cross Functional Team activities to address and mitigate any root cause problems with preventative maintenance and machine performanceDevelop Preventative Maintenance methods to minimise mean time between failure and maximise OEESupport continuous improvements and packaging process robustness initiativesCollaborates across PDM Manufacturing sites to implement shared and harmonized processes.
