We are currently recruiting a highly experienced Project Manager (full-time role), reporting to the board of directors, the role will involve the following responsibilities:
Analyse client contract requirements ensuring understanding within the Project team and liaise with the Design and Sales departments to clarify contract technical specifications
Supervision of Projects from contract award to handover. Act as the main point of contact with clients and their representatives to progress projects in a timely manner, at all times maintaining a positive client experience
Ensure all resources, equipment, labour etc are planned and available in accordance with project program, including subcontractors
* Assess & understand the suitability (experience, knowledge, skillset) of the subcontractors to the proposed works, and ensure that all training certificates/tickets/insurance details are up to date and passed onto the relevant stakeholders
Using IT systems to keep track of project plans (using Smartsheet, MS Project or similar planning software)
Have a comprehensive understanding of and continuously manage the project finances. Understand and be fully aware of the project terms of payments and invoicing schedule.
Ensure that variations to the contract are captured, approved by the customer & logged for payment in a timely manner
Using TMS system to track job numbers and ensuring Site teams are correctly submitting hours and allocating correct job numbers to client project work
Working with Planning Department, preparing detailed construction programmes- project specific scheduling and update as necessary, raise and manage RFI's where necessary
Compilation and completion of all project related documentation, H+S plan (RAMS/SPAs/Work permits), TOPs with assistance from project management support where appropriate
Ensure all drawings and site hours are communicated to site crews
Manage the operational aspects of the project to achieve the budget
* Closing of all punch list items, in conjunction with site supervisors and project engineers
Liaising directly with 3rd party inspectors / engineers in relation to all aspects of work onsite.
Managing communication with client, staff, subcontractors, suppliers and all relevant teams to ensure a quality project is delivered on time and in budget
* Onsite co-ordination between Consultant and Contractor
* Co-ordination of project activity in conjunction with the offsite fabrication team.
Experience and skills required:
Experience in managing projects in a similar industrial/construction environment
At least 10 years' Project Management experience
3rd level qualification in related field.
Customer focused-ability to provide customer solutions to customer requirements and specifications, inhouse collaboration on problem solving and outside the box thinking.
Competent in Microsoft office suite including Microsoft Project / Smartsheet.
Accurate interpretation of contract documents, programmes, drawings, and technical specifications.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Self-motivated with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Good knowledge of Site Health and Safety standards and Building Regulations.
This role is project based and travel will be required to oversee installations at client site locations- full clean driving license for driving in Ireland/EU is therefore required.
