The Purpose of the Role:
To increase distribution, raise the awareness and heighten the profile of the client’s brands within a given territory, by the achievement of Client key result areas and targets.
This will be achieved through stock and order, Pre-sell’s, auditing, merchandising, therefore increasing product availability, promotional compliance and point of sale accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities:
1. To recognise objectives and to tailor activity in store to achieve these objectives.
2. To develop a plan to achieve Client targets and KPIs.
3. To achieve quarterly sales targets and KPI’s through planning and strategy
4. Monitoring product availability.
5. To increase distribution and availability within store by implementing national and locally agreed planograms and promotions.
6. To record data and submit daily in an accurate and timely manner
7. To communicate effectively both in store and with colleagues.
8. To always present a professional appearance and attitude.
9. To manage the territory, call file and journey plan efficiently.
10. To feedback competitor information.
11. To generate new ideas and ways of working.
12. To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager.
13. To be flexible and adaptable to meet the client’s needs.
Requirements
14. Full clean driving licence
15. A good understanding of the grocery market and a keen interest in consumer activities.
16. Problem solving capabilities are a must, the ability to adapt and refocus when faced with challenges.
17. An ability to build rapport and trust with clients and customers.
18. Excellent communication skills with a particular emphasis on listening skills.
19. Pro-active approach to work situations and the ability to demonstrate initiative.
20. Excellent time management skills.
21. Computer Literacy – competent in word-processing, spreadsheet applications and Internet.
22. Attention to Detail in all areas of their work.
23. A Team player who is comfortable cross sharing within the team.
