As a Senior Credit Data Platform Developer, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of Credit data for credit management, reporting, and analysis purposes, while responding quickly to new and changing requirements. You will be responsible for the analysis and design, development, and implementation of new and improved functionality in response to business, regulatory, and audit requirements. This is a technical role that uses advanced programming techniques to implement and understand the range of solutions your team are responsible for. Your Responsibilities: Run the regular batch process ensuring timely data availability, successful completion of process, and adherence to procedure. Investigate and remediate data or process issues with batch. Analyse change requests, identifying development requirements and dependencies in partnership with colleagues across affected business functions. Produce clear solution design documentation for both business and technical audience. Develop, test, and implement changes in line with procedures and governance. Become a data platform specialist and support business users in sourcing and understanding the data they require. Provide support, structure, guidance and training to less experienced colleagues. Support manager by acting as deputy as required. Identify and control risks in advance and put processes in place to mitigate against those risks. Maintain awareness of all compliance, regulatory & legal directives and support development of approaches to minimise risk. Due to the changing nature of work, we encourage flexibility and a willingness to tackle new activities as required across AP&P team. Requirements: Essential Two or more years experience in a systems development and/or financial reporting function. Experience in relational database development (Teradata specifically but transferrable skills from other SQL technologies welcome). Ability to prioritise workloads and show determination and flexibility to deliver to very challenging timeframes. Experience managing and developing SAS solutions or proven ability to acquire new programming skills quickly. Desired Third level qualification in a numerate subject such as Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics. Ability to communicate technical detail to a business audience in a straightforward manner and to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Ability to work with other functions within the business in a collaborative and effective manner. Excellent documentation skills. This is a Permanent position for based in the St Stephens Green.
