Responsible To: Golf & Guest Services Manager
Main Purpose ofJob: As one of the first points of contact helps tocreate a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests including providinginformation on the resort, the amenities and the locality.
Liaises with: AllHotel Departments
MAIN DUTIES
1. Arriveto work on time, appropriately groomed and in the correct uniform.
2. Welcome guests upon theirarrival, tags luggage and provides guest identification slips.
3. Transfers luggage, whileescorting guests to their rooms.
4. Ensure theefficient delivery and collection of group luggage.
5. Explains features of rooms andadditional accommodation facilities
6. Provides information about ourproperty and amenities.
7. Tends to the needs of guestsfor the duration of their stay.
8. Delivers newspapers and otheramenities to guestrooms as required.
9. Delivers guests’ golf bags tothe first tee or the driving range.
10. Operates a parking valetservice for guests as required.
11. Transfers departing guests'luggage to their transportation.
12. Ensures guests and passengersleave safely in the event of an evacuation or emergency.
13. Provides assistance toconcierge, front desk, accommodation, and restaurant staff as required.
14. Maintains a friendly, cheerfuland courteous demeanour at all times.
15. Responds to customer issues,complaints, problems in a quick and efficient manner to maintain a high levelof customer satisfaction and quality service.
16. Ensures safety standards aremet by following guest check in and security procedures and reports suspiciousactivity to security, manager, or Manager on Duty.
17. Participatesin training programmes as required.
18. Due to the cyclical nature ofthe hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedulesto reflect the business needs of the hotel which can include day, evening orweekend shifts.

QUALIFYING CRITERIA
19. Previous hospitality orcustomer service experience an advantage.
20. Full, clean, drivinglicence is essential.
21. Positive and friendlyattitude, cheerful and courteous demeanour.
22. Good organisational skills.
23. Reliable and adaptable teamplayer
24. Excellent communicationskills.
25. Ability to work flexiblehours.
26. Ability to remain calm whilstunder pressure.
27. Comfortable transportingluggage and golf clubs.
