PE Global is delighted to have partnered with a leading data centre delivery partner to recruit two MEP Quantity Surveyors to join the team. This role will be based in Finland, working on a rotational basis.

The company specialises in providing turnkey data centre solutions, offering services from design through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical services, as well as commissioning. As an engineering-focused organisation, it has grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in the sector. Currently, the organisation is constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 9 different European countries, equating to over 311MW of IT load in progress.
They are pleased to announce that they are seeking to fill two excellent positions within a South Dublin based long term project that is in the early stages of delivery.
They require a MEP Quantity Surveyor who thrive working within a collaborative team delivering fast paced market leading schemes within the Data Centre sector.
The role will be based in Helsinki, Finland.
Responsibilities:
1. Subcontractor procurement – Developing subcontract tender packages from contract information, analysis of received tenders, presenting options to senior management, negotiating with subcontractors, pre-let meetings, developing subcontract orders
2. Subcontract package management – Managing multiple subcontract packages from order through to final account to include remeasurement where required, monthly payments, claims management
3. Monthly Reporting – Maintaining and submitting accurate monthly cost reporting including end of project projections in collaboration with the site team
4. Stakeholder management – Attending periodic meetings with stakeholders as required including clients, subcontractors, designers, internal collaborators. Negotiating and closing out final accounts with subcontractors and clients in a timely and professional manner.
5. Claims management – Dealing with subcontractor claims in a timely manner, ensuring claims with the client are submitted in a timely and professional manner in line with contract requirements
6. Valuations – Development and submission of external valuations as required, engaging with client representatives and agreeing monthly values, ensuring certification and trackers are updated and communicated to internal accounts team for invoicing
7. Responsible for measuring work packages from drawings and applying rates to work up package pricing
8. Manage the project budget as directed by the Project Director
9. Manage relevant client communications
10. Compile monthly reports in accordance with procedure
11. Attend monthly commercial and subcontractor meetings
12. Resolve client/subcontractor disputes effectively
13. Timely submission of claims/notices in accordance with contract provisions
14. Document cost changes to the work scopes and prepare monthly valuations and final accounts
Requirements:

17. Can do attitude in fast paced delivery centric environment
18. 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
19. Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying
20. Excellent organisation, communication, and time management skills
21. Attention to detail and analytically proficient
22. Data Centre experience would be advantageous but not essential
