IT Support Specialist Contract | €170-€200/day | Cork We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our client's team in Cork. This role is perfect for someone with a solid foundation in end-user support and a diverse set of technical skills. You will be responsible for supporting users across a range of technologies, from hardware troubleshooting to software configuration. Responsibilities: Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for a variety of IT systems, including desktop hardware, software, and networking equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating to Level 3 support when necessary. Document all support activities and maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventories. Participate in the setup and configuration of new user workstations and network devices. Requirements: 1-2 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on end-user support and troubleshooting. Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. Experience with Active Directory for user account management. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals, or equivalent are a plus.
