This role contributes to the operation of the lifeboat station by directly supporting the local and regional operations teams. Much of your time will be divided between ensuring the station, the Severn Class All Weather lifeboat and associated equipment are compliant and maintained ready for service, as well as training and assessing volunteer crew members to the RNLI’s competence standards.
You will need to have experience in the following areas:

7. Relevant maritime qualifications to complement your verifiable marine experience (e.g. RYA Yachtmaster)
8. Demonstrable boat handling experience
9. Sound working knowledge of navigation principles and IRPCS
