Role Purpose
The IT Project Manager will add value to HRI/IHRB in managing a portfolio of new and ongoing IT strategic initiatives. The key responsibilities and competencies required for the role of the IT Project Manager will be:
* Manage Project Planning & Scope Definition
* Manage IT Resources Effectively
* Proactively Identify & Mitigate Project Risks
* Monitor Project Expenses & Control Budget
* Manage Project Schedule & Track Progress
* Implement Quality Assurance & Control Measures
* Maintain Communication with Project Stakeholders
* Manage & Escalate Project Issues
* Prepare Project Reports & Documentation
* Lead Project Closure & Conduct Evaluations
Skills and Experience:
* Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
* Experience in IT project management in a senior-level role.
* Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
Project Management Skills:
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
* Experience in project planning, scope management, risk management, and resource allocation.
* Adept at scheduling, tracking progress, and identifying and resolving project issues.
Financial Management:
* Solid understanding of project budgeting and cost control principles.
* Ability to monitor project expenses, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to clearly articulate project plans, progress reports, and potential roadblocks.
Technical Skills (Preferred):
* Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
* Working knowledge of IT infrastructure and operations (a plus).
Additional Desirable Skills:
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
* Experience in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
