KDP Ireland is seeking a dynamic, ambitious Director to lead the Procurement Operations and Enablement function and manage a team of fourteen members that are based in the United States and Ireland. The successful candidate will ensure the deployment of systems, processes, and technologies to optimize efficiency for Procurement, and spearhead strategic programs including Strategic Category Management, Supplier Lifecycle Management, Supply Resiliency, Supplier Diversity, and ESG initiatives working in concert with Procurement Leadership and KDP stakeholders. The successful entrant will also deploy KDPs buy-sell Sourcing model, harmonize and improve procure to pay processes, and provide governance and compliance monitoring over KDPs Purchasing and related policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Create and deliver a robust strategy driven by data and incorporating modern technology, services, and tools to increase efficiencies within Procurement and the Sourcing process.
2. Develop and deploy Procurements Technology Roadmap, collaborating with key stakeholders including IT, Procurement Leadership, and other key internal and external stakeholders.
3. Enable effective category strategy development by optimizing Supplier Lifecycle Management, Tail Spend Management, and Supply Resiliency programs.
4. Lead all aspects of Procurement operations, system controls, and compliance reporting services to better support end-users, and guide the team towards maintaining a high standard of service.
5. Lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement in process and team engagement as a key member of KDPs Global Procurement leadership team.
6. Lead Procurements Play to Win strategy and management system.
7. Oversee key ESG initiatives, including Supplier Diversity; Partner with the Sustainability and Procurement teams to deliver responsible sourcing and environmental initiatives.
8. Deploy KDPs buy-sell model to achieve optimal supply chain efficiencies.
9. Provide governance over KDPs Procure-to-Pay processes, systems, and policies while partnering with stakeholder functions to drive harmonization, compliance, and efficiencies.
Requirements
10. Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university.
11. Minimum ten years procurement leadership experience with at least five years of experience managing a high performing Procurement operations team, preferably in CPG.
12. Demonstrated capability of building diverse, high performing, and engaged teams.
13. Ability to create robust operational and technological strategies for the Procurement function.
14. Expert understanding of the latest technologies available and proficiency in implementing.
15. Skillful with organizational change management.
16. Proficient in MS Office suite and experience working with ERP systems, SAP preferred.
17. Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
18. Ability to navigate and thrive in multinational and matrix environment.
19. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
