Job Description:
Our client’s luxurious property in Co Mayo is seeking a passionate and experienced People & Culture Manager to lead their human resources function and foster a positive, inclusive workplace environment. The People & Culture Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee engagement, training, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in cultivating a culture of excellence and ensuring the well-being of all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires.
* Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to create a positive and supportive workplace culture.
* Provide guidance and support to management and staff on HR matters, including performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
* Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
* Coordinate and deliver training and development programs to support employee growth and organizational goals.
* Manage employee benefits, compensation, and payroll processes.
* Foster diversity and inclusion within the workplace, ensuring equal opportunities for all employees.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations and develop succession plans for key roles within the organization.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in an HR or People & Culture management role, ideally within the hospitality or luxury sectors.
* Strong knowledge of employment laws and best HR practices.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to manage sensitive employee relations issues with discretion and professionalism.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
* Proven ability to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
* Experience in training and development is a plus.
