Contributing to the advancement of the energy sector worldwide, we are currently looking to recruit a Electrical Project Engineer on a permanent basis to join the team based Ireland to support sites across Ireland and the UK
The Electrical Project Engineer role comes with a salary of up to £55,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Grid Manager, you will:
Manage databases for project operations using OPC and SQL and oversee HMI operations within SCADA systems.
Act as a Project Engineer with a strong electrical background, and preferably possess qualifications and experience in Balance of Plant (BOP) design in wind power plants.
Apply thorough knowledge of Irish and GB Grid Codes, including testing for wind power plants.
Work with substations, wind turbine generators, power plant control systems, and hybrid power plant integration.
Utilise electrical simulation software such as DigSilent and PSSE to support engineering tasks.
Ensure proficiency in utility automation, relay protection, electrical power systems, and industrial automation systems.
Conduct site commissioning and Medium Voltage (MV) interface testing to ensure successful project delivery.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience as a Project Engineer, focusing on significant electrical expertise, especially in BOP design for wind power plants.
Expertise in Substation, BOP design, WTGs, and power plant control systems, along with knowledge in utility automation, relay protection, electrical power systems, and industrial automation systems.
