Job Title: In-House Insurance Manager

In-House Insurance Manager wanted for PLC Group-South Dublin
Abrivia are currently recruiting for an In-House Insurance Manager to join our client, a global player within their field, and form part of their Group Risk and Insurance function. This role will report directly into the Head of Insurance Risk and play an integral part within the Groups Insurance Program.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background within Underwriting, Broking or Captive Management and have experience across multiple lines of business. The role will suit an individual who is able to jump from Insurance Programs to Claims Management to M&A activity.

Your Role:
1. Manage the Group’s global insurance program, including annual renewal processes, data collection, and consolidation.
2. Oversee and allocate insurance premiums to operating companies, ensuring benchmarking and documentation distribution.
3. Manage all insurance claims management, with a focus on large losses and trend analysis.
4. Prepare and present information for annual London Insurance Market renewals and internal meetings.
5. Lead insurance workstreams for M&A activities, advising on due diligence and implementing strategies.
6. Produce renewal submissions for captive managers, insurers, brokers, and reinsurance panels.
7. Analyse loss ratios for captive accounts and calculate renewal premiums.
8. Liaise with senior stakeholders on SPA reviews and Warranty & Indemnity insurance processes .

9. Professional Insurance Qualification.
10. Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work individually or as part of a team, and effectively liaise with senior leaders.
11. Demonstrates integrity, trust, and the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
12. Highly motivated and comfortable in a demanding, fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple deliverables.
13. Strategic thinker who aligns with Group objectives and stays updated on insurance market trends.
14. 10+ years’ experience in broking, underwriting, or insurance/risk management, with detailed knowledge of captives and multi-line insurance.
15. Proven track record in claims handling and senior stakeholder engagement.
16. Strong financial, analytical, and commercial skills, with a focus on economic value.
17. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
