Our client a leading company in the aviation industry is seeking a Repair Station Manager to join the diverse and dynamic team. Position: Repair Station Manager Reporting To: Head of Mobile Engines Services Production Location: Dublin Overall Responsibility The Repair Station Manager (RSM) is responsible for overseeing the Mobile Engine Services repair station based in Celbridge, Co. Kildare. The role will manage day to day activities of the station, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and driving excellence throughout the organisation. Job Description Head the group professionally. Comply with all company policies, procedures and safety requirements. Manage the quality, customer service, material planning and health and safety aspects of the Station. Lead and develop the People development and Talent Management strategy for the site Develop and implement shift schedules and working time models Analyse and optimises work processes and procedures in cooperation with the MES production network Introduce Production patterns, set up production platforms and support Production ramp up plans. Ensure the quality management system of LHT & compliance with all other local and industry standards Support further development of new repair processes (especially AST products) Performs other duties as assigned Plan operating resources and hangars (selection, procurement, use, maintenance) Assume responsibility for leading and delivering on Projects and Special tasks Coordinate workload and capacity planning with network production management Development and implementation of strategy for Dublin site within the overall network strategy Management of site capital and operational budgets Person Specification Qualifications / Skills Completed university/technical college studies in a technical field or as a graduate industrial engineer Many years of professional experience Extensive management experience, preferably in production or in leading heterogeneous teams Knowledge of engine maintenance and aircraft maintenance processes Good knowledge of business fundamentals and interrelationships Experience Extensive experience working at a senior level managing cross functional teams, ideally within the Aviation sector Extensive experience working in a highly regulated environment Strong knowledge of operational and aviation regulation requirements Ideally familiar with company internal processes and systems to include ProX Excellent written and spoken English Very good computer skills (SAP R/3, MS-office) Must have extensive negotiation experience and skills, with a high level of assertiveness and persuasion Strong team player, with the ability to lead, guide and motivate a diverse team of employees Must be a confident and experienced leader Highly developed organisational and conceptual skill with the ability to structure, schedule and plan complex work processes/issues Quick comprehension, objective and confident judgment Very high sense of responsibility and strong initiative Highly developed sense of resilience Flexibility Availability to deal with urgent issues outside normal hours Availability for business travel as required If you are living in Ireland and hold a VALID WORK PERMIT, we would love to hear from you, if however, you do not hold a valid work permit unfortunately we will not be in a position to assist you with your job search.
