Our client, a leading company in the dairy sector and based in the Middle East, is looking for an Electrical Engineering Manager – Poultry Division to join their team.
Opportunity:
Reporting to the Head of Farms, we are seeking an accomplished engineering leader to provide expert technical support across our multiple commercial farm locations in Middle East. This role oversees all electrical engineering operations, managing a dedicated team of engineers and support staff.
Responsibilities:
The Head of Engineering will lead the design, selection, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems across farm facilities, ensuring optimal functionality and yield. The role encompasses a wide range of systems including refrigeration, water treatment, power generation, agricultural machinery, and transportation equipment. Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing electrical engineering functions across farm sites
* Ensuring integration of the best-suited equipment and systems for maximum operational efficiency
* Managing and supporting the team through effective leadership and technical guidance
Candidate Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
* Minimum of 10 years’ experience in maintaining electrical plants and machinery within an industrial setting
* At least 3 years in a senior management engineering role
* Familiarity with industrial generators, refrigeration systems, water treatment, fixed and mobile equipment, and steam boilers
* Skilled in the design and implementation of preventive maintenance and inventory management systems
* Experience in designing electrical distribution systems, from 13.8 Kva to 380 V
* Prior work within the MENA region is preferred but not essential.
