Credit Analyst | Corporate Banking | Hybrid | Dublin | Permanent
An exciting new position for a Credit Analyst to work alongside one of Ireland's leading banks. The ideal candidate for this position would have prior credit and cash flow lending experience, with a strong ability to work in a fast paced environment. This role would be suited to someone with strong financial analysis, business and management skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in performing commercial and credit analysis on potential opportunities, to include both qualitative and quantitative due diligence and appropriate financial analysis and stress testing.
2. Assist in the preparation of comprehensive credit applications for presentation to the Credit Committee.
3. Participation in meetings & conference calls with customers and market participants.
4. Assist in the on-going portfolio monitoring including timely review of financial / performance reports, and market trends / research that may impact the portfolio.
5. Play a role in the execution of a strategic plan for the sustainment and growth of key business opportunities for Corporate Banking.
6. Actively participate in the implementation of the customer relationship strategy for Corporate Banking customers.
7. Get involved in the management of the existing loan book and overall loan portfolio from a credit and risk perspective
REQUIREMENTS:
8. Strong credit assessment and credit management skills.
9. Good analytical skills together with an ability to think and act laterally and creatively.
10. Commitment to participating in maintaining strong relationships with existing clients through the provision of a first class quality customised service.
11. An ability to work on own initiative and interact as part of a highly motivated team.
12. Experience in learning 'on the job' and a strong ability to use various systems in the management, analysis and use of data/information.
13. Understand the lending process and understanding of the process of reviewing and analysing the performance of a loan in line with the terms and conditions of the legal documentation/Loan Agreement.
14. Degree in Finance/Business or relevant discipline.
