ProSource are recruiting a Project Manager on behalf of their client who specialise in Modular Construction projects. You will oversee and manage site operations effectively and safely, ensuring all tasks meet the highest standards, are delivered on schedule, and align with the provided specifications and design details. This role will be between Athlone, Longford, and Ballinasloe. Your main duties will include, but not be limited to; Project Management: Oversee projects from initial design through to final handover. Design Coordination: Lead coordination workshops with the design team, consultants, and trade contractors to ensure all aspects of the design are aligned. Pre-Site Preparations: Ensure the design is fully coordinated before starting on-site where feasible. Site Oversight: Supervise all construction activities on assigned sites, ensuring compliance with building regulations. Safety Management: Work alongside the safety consultant to ensure adherence to all safety regulations and protocols. Daily Operations: Coordinate daily site activities and manage subcontractor schedules. Resource Management: Communicate with head office to schedule the delivery of materials and labour as needed. Safety Inspections: Perform regular safety checks and ensure subcontractors follow safety standards. Programme Monitoring: Track the construction programme and ensure subcontractors meet their timelines. Quality Assurance: Conduct and oversee quality checks throughout the construction process, ensuring compliance with QA procedures. Handover Preparation: Liaise with local authorities and certifiers to secure handover of completed project phases. Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any on-site challenges that could delay work. Collaboration: Work closely with Contracts Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Site Managers, and Finishing Foremen to maintain high-quality standards. Team Management: Support junior staff, engineers, subcontractors, and utility companies as needed. Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates to head office on site progress and milestones. Client Engagement: Keep clients informed of project updates and upcoming key dates. Innovation Adoption: Utilise digital tools and embrace modern construction methods employed by the company. Delivery Coordination: Work with the factory to schedule and organise material deliveries effectively. To be successful in your application you will possess the following; Ideally degree qualified with a Minimum of 3 years + experience as a Project Manager with Main Contractor in Ireland or the UK Excellent negotiation/communication skills, confidence in making decisions, and strong commercial awareness Proven experience in managing construction projects from inception to handover, ideally in a Site Manager or similar leadership role.
